All Star Game Info, Coach/Manager Evals and much much more

As the spring 2017 Season ends, I again thank you all for your support, participation, and being part (if not before) of the CLL Family.  It was a great year where we all formed new relationships, our kids developed more baseball skills and life lessons, and we served our community in various ways.  Please enjoy your summer and take a look at some CLL related events happening the next few weeks and don’t forget Fall Ball 2017 is just around the corner.

Claremont Little League Hosting All Star Tournament at College Park

As many of you know, Claremont Little League will be hosting the District 20 “11 year olds” age group all-star tournament in a few weeks. The First games will be June 27th, followed by two games on June 29th (one of which is Claremont vs. San Dimas on Field 1) and another game on Field 2.  There will also be one District 20 (Claremont Game 2 TBD) game on field 1 on July 1, 3, 5, 6, and 8 (Only if necessary).    Claremont Little League is responsible for all aspects including cleaning and decorating of the park, field maintenance, snack bar staffing and operation, scorekeeping, pitch counting, and overall tournament organization.  Please come to the park on Sunday, June 25th at 8:30 AM for a clean-up day.  We plan to get this done in no more than 1.5 hours based on the number of volunteers. This is not a “Drop your kid off” activity.  Please bring shop vacuums, leaf blowers and work gloves.  Parents need to be present and please share this opportunity with your CLL families.    If you are interested in scorekeeping, pitch counting, running the scoreboard, or providing the much needed hospitality support to the league on the game days listed above, please contact Andrew Mowbray at andrew.m@claremontlittleleague.org

Claremont All Star Games

Claremont has a total of 6 All Star Teams competing in the District 20 Tournaments.  Please click on this link at the District 20 site to look up the schedules of when the respective CLL team plays.  CLL will do their best to provide game reminders and score updates on the CLL Facebook Page.  The first Claremont Game will be Saturday, June 17th when the Claremont AS Juniors Division Team plays at 1pm at Sutherland Field in Glendora.  Come out and cheer CLL on!

Equipment and Key Drop Off

On Tuesday, June 20th from 6:00pm – 7:00pm all Managers will have their last chance to drop of their equipment bag at College Park.  Also, if you have an “E Key” you gave CLL a $100 deposit for use of the key this season. If CLL doesn’t receive your key during this drop off or via mail by sending to 112 Harvard Ave box #223 in Claremont on this date, CLL will be forced to cash all remaining checks to fund a new key system, including locks at several places at College Park.  Please comply!

Manager and Coach Evaluations

It is important that every family gives feedback to the league about your experience this spring 2017 season.  We can only evaluate, critique, and praise our managers and coaches with feedback that you provide on your experience.  We are always looking to improve and provide additional resources for our managers and coaches. Please click on this link to fill out an evaluation form regarding your child’s Managers and Coaches
