Game Highlights

5/21 JV Angels @ Brewers

Henry Wirick had a big two run double in the 2nd inning and Diego Ibarra had an in the park home run in the 3rd.

5/20 Majors Braves @ Pirates

What a difference 24 hours makes as the Braves came out swinging tonight. They piled up 15 hits for 12 runs  in a 12-4 victory.

5/20 Claremont Mariners @ Claremont Dodgers

A nicely competitive game in which in the Mariners jumped out to an early 4-1 lead. The Dodgers chipped away until they found themselves down 6-4 in the bottom half of the final inning when Nathan Elias hit a walk off line drive into right field to secure the come from behind victory for the Dodgers. Max Suckley pitched very well for the Mariners.

5/19 Majors A's @ Braves

Four and two thirds innings allowing 3 hits and 1 run.  Great job Matty!  A's Brought their bats as well en route to a 9-1 victory

5/11 Majors Braves @ Astros

A Smash fest tonight, 4 total home runs, Astros made a push at the end but fell short to the Braves ,in a  very excited game 15-11

5/4 Minors Phillies @ Red Sox

Red Sox took an early lead, phillies fought back to up 2 runs and than the Red Sox had a 5 run 5th to sill the deal.  Great pitching match.

5/2 Juniors Glendora Dodgers 2 @ Claremont Reds

Pitcher Eric Guzman fans 9 and allows 2 hits. Thomas Stephens fans another 2 and allows 1 hit.

4/29 Juniors Claremont Dodgers @ Glendora Dodgers 1

A back and forth game featuring good pitching by Cole Hunter and Nathan Elias, a couple of spectacular defensive plays by Nathan Ford, and some solid at bats in general and by Ryan Rogers and Cole Hunter in particular.

4/27 JV Rangers @ Yankees

Well fought game on both sides. Nail bitter to the end.

4/22 Majors Astros @ Braves

With a crazy back and forth game coming down to the bottom of the 6th Drew P leads off the inning with a home run followed by Vincent Quinn for back to back homers. Coming back down 2 to pull off the 11-10 victory for the Braves.

4/22 Minors Diamondbacks @ Giants

From Giants manager:
Solid fielding behind 4 2/3 innings of quality pitching by Wyatt Green limited the Diamondbacks scoring. Cole Burdett answered with four innings of his own to keep the game within reach. The Diamondbacks remained persistent and continued to threaten with their active bats. However, consistent hitting by the Giants including a late inning over the fence home run by Octavio Jimenez put the game out of reach with a final score of 8-3.

From Giants coach:
It was a great game for the giants all the way through.There was a great pitching game on both sides.Hot bats were present on both sides and Octavio Jimenez hit his first carrier home run today.

4/19 Majors Braves @ Indians

What a difference a week makes.  Led by outstanding pitching the Indians defense, led by Jack Mags - Alex Serano - Justin Jackson - Ty Labbé, played it's best game of the season...Don't forget about the bats...Go Indians....Go Claremont Little League

4/15 Majors Pirates @ Braves

Both teams were strong on the mound Saturday, but the Braves defeated the Pirates 2-1. Hurlers for the Braves allowed just three hits to Pirates.

4/1 Minors Diamondbacks @ Phillies

Andrew Vargas pitched a strong, efficient game. Brandon Garcia had 2 RBI Double.

4/1 Minors Giants @ Padres

It was a good game for the Padres until the 4th when giant exploded in a two out rally in the bottom of the fifth ending with Austin Chism having a two run double to the field two fence for a tying score of six-six in the top of the sixth.  Later Ian Gaynor had a two run pop up to the fence to make a 9 point score with the ending score being 9-6 with the giants losing the amazing ball game.

3/31 Minors Padres @ Red Sox

great pitching and hitting from both teams.  nail bitter to the end.

3/31 JV Twins @ Yankees

well fought battle by both sides all the way to the end.

3/28 Rangers @ Brewers

The Brewers belted 6 in the park home runs on the day. Tyler Clark, Nicholas Ramos, Dean Holtan, Diego Ibarra each had homers and Brady Bickham had two homers. Diego Ibarra, Dean Holtan, and Dane Dorman pitched the combined shutout.  

3/25 Minors Red Sox @ Giants

(From Red Sox manager) Tight game until the end.  Giants pulled it off and Red Sox fell short despite a Home Run from Camden Barber over left field wall in the 5th.  Giants played hard and came thru with the "W".

3/25 JV Yankees @ Angels

Angels pulled it out in the end.  both teams played well.

3/24 JV Yankees @ Orioles

A good game by both teams.  The Yankees pulled it out in the end.

3/23 Majors Indians @ Astros

Great game back and forth...Each team scored three in the first and is stayed close all the way...good game that the Indians we able to close in the end.

3/22 JV Angels @ Brewers

Ruben Valdez of the Angels had a bases clearing triple in the 1st inning (3 RBI's). Tyler Clark of the Brewers had 3 RBI's on the day.

3/17 JV Twins @ Brewers

Diego Ibarra of the Brewers struck out 10 batters in 3 1/3 innings.

3/17 Majors A's @ Indians

(From the Indians manager) Matty Graves and the A's dominated the Indians tonight...Great job A's and we all know the Indians are getting better

3/15 Minors Giants @ Red Sox

Tied game thru six.  both teams played hard.  Red Sox were able to pull it off in the 7th with a walk-off double.

3/15 JV Angels @ Yankees

Well fought battle from both sides.  Game came down to the wire.

3/11 JV Orioles @ Twins

Great pitching performances by Brandon Walker in the first and Lance Pedersen in the third for the Twins the difference in this game.

3/11 Juniors Reds @ Dodgers

Tight game early, Dodgers opened up the lead in the bottom of the sixth, Reds rallied in the seventh. Thomas Stephens, Payton Fox, and Luke Kendall doubled for the Reds; Nathan Ford went 2-2 with a walk and scored three runs for the boys in blue, and Nathan Elias cranked a double with the bases juiced. Great meatball subs were available on the Reds side of the field after the game.

3/11 Majors Pirates @ A's

Claremont American LL A's Majors defeated the Pirates 15-9 in a back-and-forth affair on Saturday. The Pirates jumped out to a one run lead in the first. The A's answered with four in the second inning. By the end of three, the A's were up by three runs and never looked back. The A's had a total of 17 hits during the game.

Matty Graves struck out five hitters in four innings with 19 first pitch strikes as the Claremont American LL A's Majors went on to victory.

3/11 Minors Red Sox @ Phillies

the kids were hot and played hard.

3/10 Minors Royals @ Red Sox

a great game all the way down to the wire.  Red Sox won with a walk off single in the bottom of the 6th.

3/9 JV Twins @ Angels

Late inning double by Juaquin Mendez (home on 2 e's) sealed the victory for the Twins.

3/8 Majors Braves @ Indians


Good game...Both teams started strong but the Braves put it to the Indians as the game went on...Great hitting by the Braves - Go Claremont Little League

3/4 Majors Indians @ Astros

Retzlaff And Brown started strong buzzing through the other team's lineup... The Indians offense exploded in the third with 7 runs and again in forth to make the score 10 to 0 after 4...

3/4 JV Orioles @ Yankees

Great game by both teams. the game was tied in the 5th inning and yankees had a walk off to win the game. a real nail bitter and great job by both teams.

3/4 JV Diamondbacks @ Red Sox

A real nail biter to the end. Both teams played a great game and was tied 11-11 in the bottom of the 6th. Red Sox were able to have a walk off to win the game. A great game to open the season with.
