Important CLL Notification

Dear Claremont Little League Families, Friends and Supporters,
With the news of the increasing spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to address this serious situation.  Based on the currently available information, the board has decided not to suspend practices and games at this time.
To help everyone stay as safe as possible, CLL is encouraging its players and families to follow all recommendations of public health authorities, including the following:
  • If you are experiencing any symptoms, please do not come to any facility.
  • We are encouraging the players to limit physical contact during practices and games ( i.e. hand shakes, high fives, etc.)
  • We are trying to limit the number of people in close proximity to each other at our facilities during this time, so please do not come to a park if it is not your team’s practice or game.
The safety and well-being of the CLL community will always be our top priority.  We will continue to communicate with the city, local health departments and the school district to stay up to date on the latest developments and will regularly re-evaluate the status of the league.   Please remember that CLL is an optional extracurricular activity, so your family is always welcome to opt out of participation based on your own situation and comfort level.  If your player will be missing games and/or practices, please let your manager know.
